The Team Connection Experience™
Your Team's Most Valuable Skill Isn't What They Know. It's How They Connect.
In the age of AI, hybrid work, and multigenerational teams, the teams that thrive aren't the ones with the most information, they're the ones who actually know each other. The Team Connection Experience combines training with a guided Connection Experience, so your people leave understanding both the topic and each other.
Why This Matters Right Now
Every team runs on culture, whether or not anyone's built it on purpose. Culture isn't something you write down and hang on a wall, it's something people build together, in how they treat each other. You can usually feel where there's room to grow before you can explain why.
None of that means anything is broken. It means there's a real opportunity to build something more intentional, whether you're leading the team directly or leading the people who are. A few things happening right now make that even more worth acting on:
-
AI is changing how work gets done, and quietly reshaping where your team turns for help, the quick question that used to go to a teammate now goes to a AI instead. Little by little, that adds up, until reaching out to a real person starts to feel like the harder option, not the obvious one
-
Hybrid work has quietly cut into the small moments where people used to get to know each other, the hallway run-in, the five minutes before a meeting, and without them, teams end up working next to each other instead of with each other, whether they're in the office that day or not
-
Multigenerational teams are more capable than ever, but the generational stereotypes tend to hold teams back: the new hire written off as entitled before they've said a word, the veteran written off as resistant before anyone's asked. Teams end up working around each other's labels instead of with each other's actual strengths
-
Loneliness at work is affecting more people than ever, quietly showing up as the person who used to speak up in meetings and doesn't anymore, or the good idea that never gets shared because nobody's sure anyone's really listening. It's easy to miss, until it shows up in turnover nobody saw coming
An outing—a team dinner, an fun offsite—has real value, and there's a place for it. But those experiences are usually built for energy and morale, a genuinely good afternoon together, not for the deeper work of building the relationships a team needs to navigate work today. The Team Connection Experience isn't team building, it's something else entirely: the actual work of building how your team relates and works together, the foundation underneath a good day, not a substitute for one.
Featured: The Advanced Experience
Starting at $1,200 · Half-day format (approximately 3.5 hours) · 12+ people
The Advanced Experience is built around focus areas, real things your team is navigating right now or wants to get intentional about. Whatever the topic, the Connection Experience is the thread that ties them together, and the thing that actually moves the needle. Over a half day, your team works through your chosen focus area using a purpose-built format:
-
The root of all of it. Three rounds of conversation prompts, guided by the conversation framework, rotating small groups. This is where the relationship that makes everything else possible actually gets built.
A Closer Look: The Connection Experience
Three rounds of facilitated conversations using proven frameworks that help people share who they are beyond their roles and titles. After each round, participants move to a new group of 3-4 people, so everyone connects with multiple teammates.
Round 1: Getting Energized Light, accessible prompts that create comfort while revealing perspectives.
Round 2: Exploring Connection Questions about how we relate to others and experience presence.
Round 3: Essential Self Reflections on who we are beyond daily roles.
A quick look at a few prompts:
What's the most overlooked form of kindness?
What's something you're grateful for that you rarely think about?
When do you feel most connected to other people?
Every prompt comes with deeper follow-up questions built in, so each round can go as deep as the group is ready for.
-
Everyone gets level-set on the topic, what it is, why it matters, its real impact, so the whole team starts from the same place.
-
Not abstract discussion, this is the topic inside your organization specifically: your team's own past experience with it, and its actual impact on how you work together right now.
-
A second pass at workshopping, in a way, bringing everything together into real norms or agreements the team takes with them.
Teams leave more harmonious, with less day-to-day friction and fewer things left unsaid. Trust and psychological safety are two of the strongest predictors of a high-performing team, so that's often where the impact shows up too. When someone asks what's being done about burnout, disengagement, or turnover, there's something specific to point to, not a vague gesture at "culture work."

"After we did this with my team, I noticed the shift immediately in our next meeting. People were actually asking about each other, not just diving into work. And when conflicts came up, they were so much easier to navigate because everyone actually understood where each other was coming from."
"I'd been on this team for three months and honestly felt kind of out of the loop. But after 90 minutes of that experience, I actually knew my teammates. Like, really knew them. It sounds weird to say, but it completely changed how I interact with them now."
Meet Your Facilitator
Talia Rosenblum spent over a decade leading customer support and operations teams across hospitality and tech, managing global teams across time zones and cultures. The pattern she kept seeing: teams that knew each other, not just their job titles, collaborated better, navigated conflict with more grace, and showed up for each other when things got hard. That observation is the entire premise behind the Team Connection Experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Traditional team building focuses on activities and exercises. This focuses on who people actually are, beyond their roles. The change comes from real understanding, not from completing a challenge together.
-
Most skeptical participants are surprised by how meaningful it ends up being. The conversation prompts are designed to meet people where they are, nobody is pushed to share beyond their comfort level, and the structure builds ease naturally, round by round.
-
No. Just show up ready to be present. All facilitation, materials, and structure are provided.
-
Schedule a conversation and we'll figure out the best fit for your team together.

Device-free is optional, your team chooses whether to go phones-away for the session with a formal agreement. It's included at no extra cost for groups up to 36 people, phones go into a lockbox so everyone can be fully present, without the pull of notifications or the urge to document the moment. Even without a formal agreement, presence is still part of how every session is facilitated, we're not anti-technology, we're pro-connection. For groups larger than 36, a modified approach and additional pricing applies.
